For over four years a sparkling lip gloss in a pen format has been on the market. YSL applied its Touche Eclat click-pen concept to lips and YSL Touche Brillance was born. Late to the party is MAC. About a month ago I purchased MAC's Sheen Supreme Lipglass and finally decided to test and review it. As a champion for all things MAC I am sorely disappointed in the product.
Packaging

Product
I am seriously disappointed with the product. MAC describes it as a midtone frosted plum. Frankly, I cannot distinguish the product from any of the other MAC lipglass products. Sheen was achieved but frost was lacking. As I mentioned before the bottom is a good rep of the product. There is very little frost on the bottom of the package and that is exactly what you get. So good product representation in MAC's favour. Like the lipglass products it is not sticky and it stays on very well. The colour is acceptable but definitely loses major points for not being very frosty.
If you want that added zing to go from morning to evening, forget MAC's Sheen Supreme Lipglass and opt for YSL's Touche Brillance. If you want a more controlled MAC lipglass then you can consider the pen. However, the regular lipglass is in a smaller packaging, so if you don't want too much bulk in your makeup bag, forget the pen.
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass: 2/5 (Marked down because of bulky, unattractive packaging and lack of frost).
