In church some time ago, the pastor said 'If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans'. So does that mean God thinks our plans are funny? Not necessarily. With the whole debate about fatalism, determinism and free will, depending on what religion you follow, God has his plans for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans I have for you. God has mapped out what he wants for us and whether we allow Him to fulfill those promises that He has made is dependent on our free will. The decisions we make and the paths that we choose to follow all have their own journeys and different endings. If we choose to follow God's path, which you can find in the Bible, then you will see those promises he has made. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
So is God laughing at the plans that I have made for myself? I know that his plans are different from the ones I constantly chart for myself. I follow the path I believe God has put me on, but if He gets some laughs from it, I still make my own plans and see how far He'll let me go in meeting them.
